Sean Harren

recently purchased a property in Oakland Park and needed to replace the doors. I contacted SEAN HARREN, who advertises frequently in HotSpots magazine. He use's the motto: "I Show up." Well, he doesnt "show up." I made an appoinment with Harren to pick up the doors at HD and install them. After numerous broken appointments and lame excuses, he finally did arrive, days after the original appointment. He and his helper did a shitty, rushed job, leaving huge gaps at the top and bottom of the doors. He didnt finish the plastering at the top of one door, claiming he didnt have enough plaster, but would return the following day to finish the job and clean up the huge mess they made. His helper stole a tape measure I left sitting on a countertop. I saw it happen and giving the guy the benefit of the doubt , I thought I would get it back the following day when they returned. Sean Harren then presented me with his bill, an over charge to be very sure, but I paid it in good faith. Well, you guessed it. Harren never did return and failed to return my numerous calls to him. He did call back once, though, and whined about having family problems and assured me he would return the next day and finish what he had been paid to do.Of course, he didnt do that, either. I was forced to hire someone else to finsh the job and correct Sean Harren's shoddy work.He has never returned, nor has he offered to make it right in any manner whatever. I must commend him on one thing though, he was VERY prompt and efficient when it came to cashing my check. If you need a handyman or a job done, DO NOT HIRE SEAN HARREN. He is a typical, shoddy , dishonest contractor.
