TimeToBeSeen.com

TimeToBeSeen.com is a Scam

Las Vegas, Nevada

This company is run by a bunch of scammers.

I paid for their marketing package which guarantees me significant increase in traffic, but they have charged me month after month, and I have not seen any increase at all!

When I called to ask for my money back, they told me my Alex rankings have gone up a little, and for that reason, I got my increase in traffic. I did a search online to understand why my Alexa rankings had increased, only to find out that ALEXA rankings can be FOOLED! Yes, you can run there auto-bots to hit your website contantly, and that will artificially increase your Alexa ranking! (See: http://www.upmyrank.com/)

If TimeToBeSeen.com was that popular, why is their Alexa ranking in the 160,000? Shouldn't they be as popular or widely used as Craigslist or Yelp?

What these guys are doing is clever, sneaky, and down-right CRIMINAL! They will convince you through empty promises to increase traffic to your website, with a false Guarantee that can be forged. They will then charge you a setup fee of $250, and then charge you $150 a month continuously. When you call them to cancel, they will give you a run-around and never actually cancel the charges.

$150 from 1000 people for a year = $1.8 Million.

I am not sure how many people these guys are scamming, but they are professional scammers and the public need to be informed.

I understand what you are saying. Sometimes internet marketing works and sometimes it doesnt but i must clarify a few of the things you said because they truly were lies.

TimeToBeSeen is a wonderful company. my flower shop rosesgaloremesa.com is florishing because of my web traffic increase. I own timetobeseen my life and my business because the saved me. they are not scam artists but genuine geniuses with a revolutionary product!
i know a little about the internet and you gotta understand that it is absolutely impossile to fake an alexa rating. alexa.com is actually owned by amazon.com and is therefore highly regulated and credible and millions use and trust alexas ranking system.
another thing you mentioned is that timetobeseen is only ranked 160,000... THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE! you obviously know nothing about anything as timetobeseen is actualy ranked 13,000th which is utterly outstanding for a company that has only exhisted for 6 months and also consider the fact that there are over 1 BILLION sites in the US alone.
I hope i have disgraced this person enugh to where you dont beleive his idiocy. he obviously doesnt understand the web and how marketing works. please feel free to call me any time 480-307-3690. i love timetobeseen. like i said, they saved my business!
What is sad is that the person that wrote this scam alert was too afraid to even post who he was. Time To Be Seen works for so many site just by adding content to your site and submitting you properly all throughout the internet using the tools websites give you. If it was just bots hitting your site to increase your Alexa ranking, then why are all the businesses showing up on all the search engines, social networks, directories, and under categories and keywords organically? If you would look in the control panel, there is a GREAT BIG CANCEL BUTTON, that automatically cancels your account with no need to call anyone! This person probably has a horrible website and is just upset because no matter how many people comes to his site, he still can't make a sale.
This original poster sounds like he/she really missed the boat here. Time to be Seen is a godsend and has done wonders for my national business. I have been a client for almost 2 months and have seen a drastic increase in both my page ranking and the number of hits that my site gets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis

As common sense would dictate, more exposure has in fact lead to more sales and this is a direct result of the visibility that TTBS has gotten for my company.

As a national account I am paying less than $1000 (i had paid as much as 3-5k to SEO companies per month prior to TTBS) and I am easily making 3-4 X that back already. As with anything Organic, I am excited to see how this grows as I am 100% sure that month 6 will be better than month 1 and 2

As another poster mentioned, there is a giant "CANCEL" button right on my profile page.

I would like to also add that I have never been anything but amazed with the service I have gotten from both my sales rep and his sales manager.

Time to be Seen is revolutionary!
Wow, one unhappy customer comment generated 3 glowing comments from the scamming website themselves ..... (Ichreise)??? If you search that name on google, guess who you get .... none other than the TimeToBeSeen.com CEO himself.

I certainly don't buy what TimeToBeSeen.com is trying to sell..... if you want to get on a Directory listing, there are hundreds of free Directory you can get your business listed on .... no need to pay these guys $300+ a month for a listing on their website. Save your money.

FLOWER SHOP Business saved???? Call 480 307 3690 for testimonial???? What a bunch of B.S.

Just do a search of the phone number "480 307 3690" on google and you will see advertisements for 6 FIGURE INCOME!!! to work for TimeToBeSeen.com as a Sales Person .....

These guys are PROS at defending their scams .... even it means giving out phone numbers of people working for the company to pretend to be customers give glowing recommendations about how they have saved businesses. What a bunch of bullshitters.

Case in point.... their business model is simple.... hire tons of sales people willing to be paid commission, then call and try to scam hard working business owners like us to shell out $300 a month to support their useless directory listing website .....

Here is the Advertisement I found linked to the phone number that is suppose to belong to some flower shop owner whose business is saved by their website .... LMAOL

Make no mistake Timetobeseen.com is a complete scam.

All they do is boost Alexa rankings to ignorant biz owners. THEY DO NOT GENERATE TRAFFIC!

The company is owned by scammers Brian Cutwright and Las Vegas scam attorney Leo Flangas you can do some research on them here http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1996/10/ncf-1.shtm

and

http://www.mortgagefit.com/nevada/pr...reduction.html

as you'll see they are currently under investigation in AZ/NV and Cal.

Devan Sharma (the programmer) lies to everyone claiming his is an MIT grad. Ask him to prove it.

I am frankly not sure if the company is related to Brian Cutwright, or if Devan Sharma the CEO claimed to be a graduate of MIT, as claimed by the last post.

But what I do know with just a little bit of smart research is the CEO did lie about getting a bachelors degree from the University of Maryland. He claims he has it on his LinkedIn profile he has the degree, but the University says not!

Check this out:

If the guy who started the company can fake his college degree, you bet he can run a scam company.

Do your homework before you spend your hard earn money. Good luck everyone.

Who Scammed You Commenter
wow...i've been doing internet advertising for the past 12 years, and alexa has not been relevant for at least 4 or 5 years...I personally use Google analytics with my clients for SEO, maps, and Social Media advertising because it measures bounce rate and goes very in depth in measuring traffic by keyword, what site they found you on, even what browser they were using ( firefox, chrome, internet explorer, mobile). Ive worked for a few companies, but when ATT's yellowpages.com is the biggest rip off out there, next to doing nothing, it becomes very difficult to know what will work, and what won't. Here's a couple tips to avoid a scam: make sure you talk to(or can at least have access to) a technician, and not just rely on your sales rep. Also avoid lengthy contracts. I began working for myself, because of dealing with the hassles of these companies reps over-promising people. So I deal directly with my clients, they are all month to month. The internet changes so often, and I try to keep all of my clients ahead of the curve. They all have websites compatible with mobile web, great social media (twitter, facebook), and we work closely to improve things like bounce rate, which is how many people are using your site, as opposed to clicking on and then off. No contract keeps your company working for you, as opposed to being stuck with something that doesn't work. It's sad how many fly by nights are out there, who consider SEO adding a couple links. Optimization should be a total package, for your website needs to be relevant to the customer once they get there. I can get a ton of traffic by having a website come up under "megan fox" but they would be sure to click off when they see you rent bounce houses, or whatever.
